BECOME A MEMBER OF
THE LONGBOAT KEY EDUCATION CENTER NOW!
Your Support Is Vital To Our Ongoing Success!

We are celebrating 33 years! We must be doing something right! But without your membership support we never could have done it or lasted this long.  Since our inception in 1985 the school has been committed to providing the community with excellent programs for adult enrichment, recreation, entertainment, and lifelong learning.

The new and returning programs are mere highlights of our 2018-2019 season...the tip of the iceberg if you will. There are many programs still in the planning stage.  (If your favorite teacher is missing, don’t worry; we may not have contacted him or her in time for this message.)

Check out these great membership advantages:

MEMBERS GET FIRST CHOICE. Members receive our brochure by First Class Mail
a full month before non-members.
This head start allows members to register early and
almost always get first choice of popular programs.

MEMBERS PAY LESS. Members pay an average of $10 less than non-member prices
for most programs.
For the Full Series Lecture Series, members save $60! Memberships
at the supporting level and above enjoy even more savings, as the application card
explains. The Longboat Key Education Center is a not-for-profit 501 (c) (3) educational
organization; so all membership contributions are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law.

Note: We have not raised our membership dues in 6 years!  What a deal!

MEMBERS GET CREDIT. Membership is also a form of cancellation insurance. Only
members are entitled to apply for credit for registrations they have cancelled.

All 2017-2018 memberships expire in July, so become a 2018-2019 Member now to take
full advantage of all your membership benefits.

Members are the backbone of The Longboat Key Education Center. We cannot make it
without you. Your support has allowed us to continue offering a wide variety of stimulating
programs in a well-equipped, comfortable environment for over 30 years!  Thank you for being a member!  And please remember that we are always looking for underwriters and sponsors for designated events/programs and teachers you love! Call me if you are interested so we can put your name(s) in the 2018-2019 brochure. 941-383-8811.

Sincerely yours,

Susan Goldfarb
Executive Director

P.S. Dear Canadians: Due to the prohibitive cost of postage to Canada, only Canadians who become Friends will receive a brochure by mail.
